I have been actively associated with the medium of Films for over thirty years – Producing and Distributing feature Films – many were box-office hits, some award winners and some earned the distinction of representing India in International Festivals. In a span of 30 years, with production of 42 films and distribution of over 70 films, I have indeed achieved a commanding position in the Malayalam film industry.
I had the privilege to produce Tamil film with Sri. Rajanikanth, “Kuselan”. I have also co-produced and carried out Coproduction / Line production of Hindi Films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dhol, Mere Baab Pehle aap, Bum Bum Bole, Khatta meetha, and Kamaal Dhamaal Malamal.
Film making is tough, nerve-racking work. The most difficult part of it is managing the human component. A hundred odd men and women of different temperaments from diverse disciplines, all professionals in different fields, bruised egos, hurt vanities, and flying tempers – very often they all surface and have to be dealt with. I have been able to effectively tackle and efficiently manage this.
Innovative themes, streamlined productions, commitment to quality, business integrity – a combination of all these coupled with my ability to lead and control a team enabled me to develop and maintain a strong and fruitful association with the best talents in the Film industry, which in turn in my asset and strength.
My company, Seven arts International Limited, is today on a strong foundation with excellent infrastructure, rich experience / expertise, wide contacts and enjoying good reputation.
